Baltimore Design School Wins Wintergreen Award

The Baltimore Design School has won a USGBC MD Wintergreen Award for the Historic Major Renovation category. The award was presented at the awards ceremony held on February 19th.

Wintergreen celebrates, promotes and recognizes excellence in high performance, healthy design and building; environmental stewardship and community impact; and serves to highlight the green building initiatives and achievements of the USGBC MD region projects, businesses, chapter members and other vested individuals.

Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering design to renovate the abandoned 115,000 GSF 3-story Crown Cork and Seal Machine Shop into a fashion, architecture design school. The building design features classrooms, student galleries, studios/ labs, media center, dining hall, workout room, and courtyard performance space.
