The national memorial will be undergoing a major rehabilitation – including a restoration of the mansion house and a new visitor experience structure. In advance of the construction, two tours were held at Arlington House led by the Nartional Park Service, AIA DC, and members of the design team. The tours provided specifics of the rehabilitation and detailed how the structure will be preserved.  

Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering design for the rehabilitation of the mansion and associated areas. This sensitive preservation design included reviews by the US Commission of Fine Arts (CFA), the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC), and State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).
