The $84M, 256,000 SF project includes a 171,000 SF renovation and an 85,000 SF addition. This involves of variety of student gathering and activity spaces such as a 300-seat auditorium and movie theatre, new food market, 15,000 SF ballroom, and a relocated/expanded career center. The building will remain occupied throughout as it must remain operable to students throughout the academic year.

Henry Adams is providing the mechanical and electrical engineering design services for the renovation and expansion. The mechanical scope includes HVAC and associated building controls. The electrical scope involves building power distribution, emergency system evaluation and design, short circuit and coordination study, and lightning protection design.
