Henry Adams designed the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for a 2,560 SF addition and renovations to the existing beach club of the upscale resort, Gasparilla Inn and Club. New electrical service was brought in for the new building. A new 15,000 SF salon building with lap pool, beauty salon, massage rooms, steam rooms, saunas, outdoor lounge areas, whirlpool and locker rooms was designed and constructed. The reception area contains offices and a lounge with coffered wooden ceilings. Diffusers and electrical wiring were discreetly placed so as not to distract from the architecture. Renovations were designed to change the existing locker rooms into a fitness center with new shower/locker rooms and a view of the ocean. An aerobics studio was also added to the fitness building. M/E design includes HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire protection, electrical distribution and lighting.
