Occoquan Regional Park, Jean R. Packard Occoquan Center
Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering design and commissioning services for the new multi-purpose building, known as the Jean R. Packard Occoquan Center, and wedding/events pavilion - known as The River View.
The 15,350 SF waterfront multi-purpose building includes park offices, environmental education displays, café, event rental space, commercial kitchen, and various associated amenities.
The 3,000 SF pavilion includes a 100-space parking lot; ADA accessible connecting walkways and a path to the river; small pier on the water; as well as lighting for the parking lot, walkways, and shelter.
