Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering design for the complete renovation of the existing dining, kitchen, administrative and recreational spaces of the domiciliary, located in Building 502, E-Pod. HVAC systems servicing the area were evaluated and recommendations were made for an upgraded system to meet VA compliance standards. Pressure independent control valves were included in the design for the conversion of a central chilled water cooler from primary constant to primary variable system. A new lighting design was created to enhance the dining room aesthetics. A private key card access system was designed for the rear entry doors of the kitchen area.
