Under an IDIQ contract, Henry Adams provided an assessment of the MEP systems for the 36,000 SF Building 11 at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Facility.

The assessment was crucial in determining what renovations will be needed to improve the building. The project identified electrical capacity, HVAC loading, and the impact caused by the loss of an adjacent central chiller plant. The mechanical scope included HVAC and associated building controls, as well as plumbing that included sanitary, venting, water, and gas. The electrical scope included power, lighting, communications involving voice data and mass notification. The electronic security was comprised of access control and video surveillance. The fire protection scope included fire alarm and suppression.
