Pikesville Veterinary Hospital
Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering services for the expansion of the Pikesville Animal Hospital into neighboring retail space entailing 3,500 SF. The hospital includes examination rooms, operating rooms, a waiting room, and a reception desk. The mechanical scope included HVAC and associated controls while the electrical scope included power and lighting. The plumbing scope included sanitary, venting, water, gas, and medical gases. Fire protection and fire alarm, sprinkler design modifications were also included in the specifications.
Henry Adams reviewed existing documents and performed a visual field survey to assess existing conditions with the client on-site to select an appropriate HVAC system. The coordination of services and space requirements, the recommendation regarding existing mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, and the preparation of conceptual level drawings with specifications was also provided.
