The scope of work for Research Building 21 consists of design to upgrade building emergency power systems, and complete sprinklering of the building. This is a 51,000 SF, five-story building with basement and mechanical penthouse.

The electrical design for upgrading the building emergency power systems include bringing in two new feeders from the existing emergency generating plant into bracket in Building No. 16. Performance specifications were complied to indicate governing codes, authorized jurisdiction and requirements of the installing contractors.
