J. Douglas Tebera, PE

PRESIDENT / SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Doug Tebera has served as President and Managing Principal of the firm since December 2007. Since starting with the firm he has served as Director of Electrical Engineering as well as Project Manager. The same focus on value and teamwork that contributed to the success of projects including the APL District Utility Plant, DEA Research Laboratory, and the Boston Opera House restoration, now form several of the cornerstone principles he uses in leading our firm. Doug holds a Bachelors of Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. Doug is registered in several states. He has served as President of the Maryland IESNA Chapter, Board Member of Maryland IEEE/IAS, and Chairman of the ARCOM Masterspec Engineering Review Committee.

Scott R. Haythorn, PE, LEED AP, CEM

PRINCIPAL / SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Scott Haythorn is a leading consultant in the construction of central plants and utility projects. In addition, Scott has led several of our projects in the academic, government, and historic market sectors. He is extremely focused on the importance of helping clients satisfy their mission within schedule and budget. As a Certified Energy Manager he has the proven credentials to model and analyze various energy efficiency measures and life cycle costing to present the most appropriate system options for the budget. Scott is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He is also credited with designing a wide array of project types that achieved various levels of LEED Certification. Scott is an active member of AEE, ASHRAE, and SAME.

Jeanne S. Tebera, PE, CFPS

PRINCIPAL / SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Jeanne Tebera is a senior electrical engineer focused on a variety of market sectors including government, historic, cultural, and academic construction. She is a graduate of Loyola University in Maryland. Her experience includes design of normal, standby, and emergency power distribution. She focuses on low-voltage construction work and specializes in fire protection, lighting controls, security, and communication systems. She has been an instrumental team member on many of our LEED Certified projects, including LEED for New Construction – Platinum and Commercial Interiors – Gold. Jeanne is an active member of AFAA. She is also active in the community, serving on the Board of the Greater Parkville Community Council. She served as Vice President of the Saint Ursula School Board and as a member of the Building Facilities Committee.

Nathaniel B. Krumpe, PE

PRINCIPAL / SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Nathaniel Krumpe is extremely thoughtful in his approach to integrating various mechanical and plumbing systems for commercial, mixed-use, housing, cultural, and healthcare construction. He’s accomplished in a variety of construction sectors and has completed multiple projects for private and public clients. He is extremely experienced at conducting energy audits and energy modeling. Nathaniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. He is a member of ASHRAE and SAME.

Rebecca L. Koch, CxA, LEED AP O+M, CMVP

DIRECTOR OF COMMISSIONING, ENERGY, & SUSTAINABILITY SERVICES

Rebecca Koch has 25 years of experience in commissioning, project management, and energy/sustainability in the design, construction, and operation of facilities and building systems. Her MEP commissioning projects include LEED and non-LEED projects in a variety of market sectors, including K-12, higher education, mission critical, office, library, retail, and central plants. Additionally, she provides LEED consulting across all credit categories, LEED online activities, and the management of LEED projects. Her energy service experience includes development of benchmarking and energy management programs, building energy audits, and energy savings performance contracts. She is a member of USGBC and SAME.

Stephen C. Sattler

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Stephen Sattler manages business development efforts for Henry Adams, including outreach to new and existing clients, attendance at professional and trade conferences, and tracking upcoming opportunities. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the fields of marketing and business development, holding senior positions in the nonprofit, higher education, and commercial development industries before joining the A/E/C community. A former Baltimore Heritage board member, he serves on AIA Baltimore’s historic resources committee and the diversity, equity, and inclusion committee of SMPS Maryland. He holds an A.B. in history from Georgetown University and an M.S. in marketing from The Johns Hopkins University.

James R. Dark

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

James Dark brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, design, project management, and business development to his role at Henry Adams, where he exhibits a diverse skill set and a passion for innovative solutions. With a background honed in the distribution industry, he seamlessly transitioned into the A/E/C community, where he now leads a team of dedicated marketing professionals. He possesses a B.S. in Corporate Communications from the University of Baltimore, and has a desire for growth and exploration, constantly seeking new opportunities to make meaningful contributions to both his department and the firm as a whole. Additionally, as a member of ABC Baltimore, he remains actively engaged with industry peers.
